Introducing MasterCare Digital Front Door’s newest feature – electronic Informed Financial Consent. This integrated workflow will allow hospitals to capture Informed Financial Consent from your patients and collect GAP fees online after generating a Fee Estimate from within your PAS, all the while ensuring that transmission from your PAS to the Digital Front Door are protected with the end-to-end encryption of HL7 secure messaging.
Once a Fee Estimate has been generated by and sent from your PAS, your patient will receive a notification for an incomplete Informed Financial Consent.
They will be able to see all their Fee Estimates for different Episodes associated with your organisation, and their status. In a pending record, they can review it’s details, and sign their consent. Depending on your organisation’s preferences, patient’s can either pay online immediately, or pay later. Once payment is processed, a receipt will be provided to the patient and sent into PAS for reconciliation.
